Fantastic $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream
Following a brief run earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned with an encore available until Dec. 2. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by a specialized software company over the years, the entire collection carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist multiple package options available here.
Primary Feature
The big draw is certainly permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade cartography program which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Package Levels
Basic Package
The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Mid-Range Option
The eight-product collection for at least $15 offers enhanced value through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual are included here, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, urban centers, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly an even better deal for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though the purchase is available across platforms, the applications only function on Windows.
Philanthropic Aspect
As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. There's also an donation allocation menu immediately below, allowing you to adjust how much of your donation goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
