Manchester United Poised to Secure German Forward Lea Schüller from Bayern Munich
Manchester United are on the verge of sealing the deal for prolific Germany striker Lea Schüller in a permanent move from the Frauen-Bundesliga champions.
A Marquee Acquisition for United
Schüller, who has six months remaining on her contract, has been a consistent goal-getter for both club and country. Having netted over 100 goals for Bayern and scored 54 times in 82 caps for her country. Her arrival is viewed as a major signing for the WSL team.
Her exit from Munich has been anticipated after she appeared to be holding back emotions while thanking the German club’s fans following a win over Bayer Leverkusen this month.
Reports in late December that the German women's top flight was set to lose one of its top forwards. According to reports, all the paperwork for the move are now finalised.

The 28-year-old’s arrival is expected to provide a significant boost to United’s attacking options. Schüller has been remarkably reliable in front of goal in Germany’s top flight.
