Person of Interest in Ivy League Campus Incident Located Dead Inside Storage Unit.

The suspect linked to the recent fatal violence at Brown University authorities state died by suicide on Thursday night, according to officials.

The discovery was made at a storage facility on Thursday evening, as reported from an enforcement source. The same individual is also suspected of killing a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor at a residence in the Boston area.

“He committed suicide this evening,” said the head of the Providence police department during a news briefing.

The police official identified the deceased man as Claudio Nevis Valenti, a 48-year-old individual enrolled at Brown University.

This news comes after a major police presence at a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire earlier on Thursday. Journalists on scene described seeing multiple agents in tactical gear converging on the location.

The intensive search for the shooter had restarted on Monday after state prosecutors announced that a individual detained on Sunday had been released. This development was admitted to be likely to cause fresh anxiety for the local community.

City leadership emphasized that while the letting go was a setback, the broader investigation was not paused without interruption.

The young victims who lost their lives in the attack have been named by family. They are Ella Cook, a second-year student from Alabama who was served as vice-president for a campus political group, and MukhammadAziz Umurzokov, an Uzbek national in his freshman year who aspired to a neurosurgeon.

Officials are scheduled to hold a news briefing to deliver further details on the suspect's death.
